Ramakrishna Teacher Training Visit Branch : Dwarka Mor
The students of Ramakrishna Teacher Training Institute, Vikaspuri, Delhi were provided an opportunity for a practical experience of inclusive education and true teaching techniques through an Educational Visit to Holy Heart Special School. Student teachers were able to observe classroom instruction, therapy sessions and vocational training provided to children with special needs. This gave the student teachers insight into the many different types of learning styles that exist for children to learn.
The student teachers interacted with both the children and the staff, gaining valuable insights into methods of individualized instruction, behavior management, and skill development. This visit provided student teachers with both a practical and meaningful learning experience and served as an important connecting link between their theoretical understanding of special education versus the practical reality.
