Participation in CWSN Inclusive Event Branch : Dwarka Mor
On the date of April 25, 2026, at an event designed to be inclusive, S.M. Arya Public School in Punjabi Bagh held an activity where students from Holy Heart Special School participated in different activities that would help increase their creativity, confidence, social skills and the ability to include Children with Special Needs (CWSN). The activities were intended to create an environment for positive participation, create an opportunity for CWSN to show their talents and provide exposure by allowing participants to interact and engage with their peers and to also provide experiential learning experiences outside of the classroom.
Four students from the school were able to perform a dance routine together which was extremely well-rehearsed and appreciated by the audience. A student also won 3rd place in a singing competition, creating a lot of pride within the school community due to this accomplishment. Participation of students in this type of event can also benefit the development of the student's self-confidence, communication skills and the overall development of the student's personality.
