World Disability Day Branch : Dwarka Mor

On the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Holy Heart Special School took a proactive stance in raising awareness about disabilities by organizing an awareness walk in collaboration with Government and other organizations. This event aimed to shed light on the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and promote inclusivity and acceptance within the community.

During the awareness walk, our students proudly participated, carrying slogans and messages advocating for the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities. Their enthusiastic involvement demonstrated their commitment to breaking down barriers and promoting a more inclusive society.

In addition to the walk, volunteers from partnering organizations engaged in street plays (nukkad natak) to further highlight the importance of disability awareness and acceptance. Through these interactive performances, they effectively conveyed powerful messages about empathy, understanding, and the need for equal opportunities for all.

By coming together to advocate for the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities, we took a significant step towards building a more inclusive and equitable society for all.
