Maha Shivaratri is known as the great night of Shiva. Maha Shivaratri is an auspicious day for Lord Shiva. On this day people celebrate by fasting, making sweets, offer fruits & Milk to Lord Shiva. The sacre- d chant “Om Namaha Shivaya” is chanted throughout the day.
On this auspicious occasion, the children of Holy Heart Special School went to Shiva Temple. Students poured water on the Shivalinga there.Children worshiped Lord Shiva with all their heart. They also took prasad.
The students and the teachers were filled with the spiritual fervour on the occasion.
