Bhai Dooj Celebration Branch : Dwarka Mor

Bhai Dooj, also known as Bhai Tika, was celebrated by the students of Holy Heart Special School, Dwarka, on 26th October 2022. Children learnt the concept of Bhai Dooj with excitement.

To inculcate cultural ethics in the kids, a greeting card activity was held. Students were involved during this event and celebrated with a lot of love and happiness.

Children understood that this festival is commonly known as mini-Rakhi & is celebrated mostly by North Indians, where sisters feed sweets to their brothers and tie a red thread — a band which is said to be a kind of protection from negative forces.

The simple thought of caring & sharing was portrayed as the festival of Bhai Dooj was celebrated in the school.
