Diwali Celebration 2017 Branch : Dwarka Mor

Diwali is a national festival marked by most Indians regardless of faith, with Jains, Buddhists, and Sikhs also celebrating. Diwali also celebrates the goddess of wealth and prosperity, Lakshmi. Some believe it falls on her birthday and the day she married Lord Vishnu, another Hindu god. So to continue this tradition Holy Heart Special School also celebrated Diwali on 17 th October 2017. To teach the values and importance of this festival, many activities was organised by school for children.

Children painted “Diyas” and decorated them. Greeting cards were made by children to relate the festival with their most loved activity-Art & Craft and the most important part of Diwali which is Rangoli was made by students to beautify and glorify their school.

How a festival can be left untouched without sweets. So, chocolates and sweets were distributed among children to fill the sweetness in this celebration. With this Holy Heart Special School celebrated Diwali and wished for the happiness and prosperity for everyone in their lives.
